Gabriela Castillo Areco is a senior lawyer in the Competition/Antitrust and Foreign Trade departments and the Mergers and Acquisitions department. She joined our firm in 2013.
She graduated with honors as an Attorney from the University of Buenos Aires and as a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Universidad del Salvador. Her practice focuses on the defense of merger transactions, acquisitions and joint ventures before the competition authorities, investigations into anti-competitive, anticorruption rules and advice on corporate and contractual matters.
She was executive director of the Young Leaders Training Program organized by the Hanns Seidel Stiftung Foundation and a representative of Civil Society before the Organization of American States (OAS) before the General Assembly.
She was an associate researcher for the School of Business and Engineering of the Universidad del Salvador.
