    By Resolution No. 518/2021, published in the Official Gazette on September 3, 2021, the Ministry of Productive Development approved the opening of an investigation due to the expiration of the anti-dumping measures established by Resolution No. 434/2016 (issued by the former Ministry of Production), for export operations to Argentina of denim fabrics originating from the Republic of China, merchandise that classifies under Mercosur tariff positions 5208.43.00, 5209.42.10, 5209.42.90, 5210.49.10, 5211.42.10 and 5211.42.90.

    Furthermore, the Ministry ordered that the anti-dumping measures established by Resolution No. 434/2016 (minimum export FOB value of USD 3.93 per lineal meter) be maintained until the investigation is completed.

    The investigation was initiated by the Chamber of Denim, Corduroy and related Products (CADECO), and the firms Santana Textil Chaco S.A., Vicunha Argentina S.A. and Santista S.A.
